Exercising Seed Faith

Saint Matthews Church believes in and practices the principle of seed faith

St Matthews Church knows that there are many times in life when things seem impossible - a family member is diagnosed with a fatal illness, a loved one dies, employment seems to escape our grasp or life just seems to be spiraling out of control. It is at times like these that we must exercise seed faith.

What is seed faith? Jesus told the disciples it is "the smallest of all your seeds." (Matthew 13:32).  When Jesus described faith "as small as a mustard seed", he was merely trying to open the disciple's eyes to the miracles that could be possible in their lives if only they would believe and plant seed faith.  Saint Matthews recalls Matthew 17:20-21, where Jesus tells the disciples that seed faith can move a mountain "from here to there" and Luke 17:6 where with seed faith, one can say to a mulberry tree, " 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you."

Are you facing a mountain that needs to be moved?  Are you in a situation which requires seed faith?  If so, Saint Matthews encourages you to plant your seed faith by believing that the impossible can be done in your life - with God's intervention.  Try it today.  Pray and believe!
